Here's the story given to me:
Kaz lost his mate, so he is really going through heck. Saigh is his best friend and she's trying to help him out and cheer him up after his loss. One day, while on a walk, they found this little pup freezing to death in the snow (Kyrie). So they nursed it back to health and are trying to raise it together - even though they're just simply friends. Kaz is hurting way too much to allow anyone close, but it is really hard not to get close to Kyrie.
